Alumni Branches
Royal Roads University embraces its alumni as important members of the Royal Roads' community and vital partners in its future. Alumni include those who received a degree, diploma, or certificate from Royal Roads University or one of the military colleges that preceded the University at Hatley Park and honourary graduates of Royal Roads.
Alumni Branches are established by Alumni Relations in locations where there are significant concentrations of alumni, or at the request of alumni members. All alumni living in the geographic area as defined by the University will be considered members of that Branch.
The vision for each Alumni Branch is that it will be a respected, representative, and responsive organization furthering the interests of alumni, Royal Roads University, and the public good.
Alumni Relations supports Branches to provide a local mechanism for alumni to maintain friendships and forge new ones with fellow alumni, to live their learning through continuing professional development, and to be involved in furthering the value of their Royal Roads education by promoting the University and enrolment of high quality students. Branches are accountable to the University through Alumni Relations. Each Branch will honour the following values:
Service - support alumni and communities in meeting their goals
Sustainability - consciously make choices that foster a healthy social, economic, and environmental future
Integrity - act with openness, honesty and respect in all that we do
Excellence - strive for the highest standards in all we do
Alumni Satisfaction - aim to understand and fulfill alumni expectations for personal and professional development, engagement, and success
